GREENVILLE - Funeral services for Willie Johnson, 85, of Arlington, Texas and formerly of Greenville will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Old Evening Star MB Church, Greenville. He died June 24, 2005, at his home. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Gilliam Johnson of Arlington, Texas; two sons, Tyrone Johnson of Detroit, Mich., and Hollie (Trina) Gilliam of Arlington, Texas; three stepdaughters, Dora Perry and Joyce Gilliam, both of Greenville, and Mary Gilliam of Arlington, Texas; a sister-in-law, Lee Ester Jones of Dickinson, Texas; a brother-in-law, Joe Louis Jones of Dickinson, Texas; and a special cousin, Christene Chavis of Greenville.
Visitation is today from 1 to 6 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home chapel, Greenville. The remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
The Rev. R.C. Addison will officiate.
DREW - Funeral services for Bernice Lakes, 55, of Drew will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Holly Grove Church, Drew. She died June 25, 2005, at North Sunflower Medical Center, Ruleville. Burial will be in Elvoid Lakes Cemetery, Drew, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Ruleville.
Survivors include her husband, Manuel Lakes of Drew; three sons, Manuel Lakes Jr. and Timothy Henley, both of Hinesville, Ga., and Arthur Henley of Drew; a daughter, Willie Ruth Henley of Severn, Md.; two sisters, Betty Henley of Drew and Virgie Henley of Chicago; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 2 to 6 p.m., with a family hour from 6 to 7 p.m., at Byas Funeral Home, Ruleville.

Amiya will be remembered by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Janie Mae Robinson; grandfathers, Leroy Parker Sr. and Willie Jordan; and an aunt, Kendra Jones.

Robinson and Eric Parker Sr., both of Greenville; two sisters, Shandrika Robinson and Dakota Smith, both of Greenville; three brothers, DeAyryus Robinson, Eric Parker Jr. and Ethan Parker, all of Greenville; her grandmother, Catherine Young of Greenville; 11 aunts, Frankie Robinson, Rosie Robinson, Doris Little, Shenerrie Young, Shunda Parker, Tabitha Parker, Rebecca Parker and Veronica Young, all of Greenville, Phyllis Gilmore of Memphis, Tenn., Shirley Aaron of Gulf Coast, Miss., and Sherry Parker of Helena, Ark.; 11 uncles, Johnny Robinson Sr., Kenny Lott, Michael Jones, David Parker, Ezra Parker, Rapheal Edwards, Darryl Parker and Anthony Edwards, all of Greenville, Melvin (Faydria) Harris of Tupelo, and Leroy Parker Jr. and Jason Parker both of Helena, Ark.; one special cousin, Carl Taylor of Greenville; and a host of other family and friends.
