HOLLANDALE — For the second time in three months, a car owned by Hollandale Mayor Melvin Willis was vandalized by fire, prompting an investigation and a reward of $1,000 by the state fire marshal’s office.

Willis’ 2003 Lexus, parked in the mayor’s driveway in the 300 block of Church Street Extended, was hit with a Molotov cocktail at 11:19 p.m. Monday. No one was injured, but the interior of the car was damaged.
