GPSD gets a D, Leland gets an F

GREENVILLE — Accountability results released by the Mississippi Department of Education showed some improvements within districts, but school officials said adjustments are necessary in order to move forward.

The Greenville Public School District received academic watch, which equates to a “D,” while Hollandale and Western Line districts were labeled as successful or a “C.”

    Congratulations to the administration, teachers, staff, and most importantly, the students of the Weddington Schol for achieving a letter grade of "B." Once known as "The School of Beautiful Children" now I think of it as "The School of High Expectations/Achievers." [smile]
