Amos

GREENVILLE - Funeral services for Ben Amos Jr., 77, of Greenville will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Redmon Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville. He died Nov. 24, 2010, at his home. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

Survivors include his special loving friend, Fannie Henderson of Greenville; son, Lawrence Rideaux of Springfield, Mass.; daughter, Dianne Bonney of Greenville; three granddaughters, Dechaine Rideaux of Southaven, Teresa Bonney of Greenville and Bridget Bonney of Lawrence, Kan.; three brothers, Titus (Edna) Amos, Herman Amos, and Curtis (Christine) Amos, all of Greenville; six sisters, Doris Harris of San Diego, Calif., Mildred (Lonnie) Hopson, Gloria (William C.) Manning and Carolyn (Jesse) Coats, all of Greenville, Velma Guy of Dallas, Texas and Barbara Nash of Brentwood, Calif.; one aunt, Mattie Hughes of Olympia Fields, Ill.; special nieces, Zelda Amos of Greenville and Kaylynn Brantley of Arlington, Texas; special nephews, Vernell Horton and Darron Amos; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville.

Minister Elder Jesse Carter will officiate.

Anderson

SHAW - Funeral services for Marie C. Anderson, 93, of Shaw will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion MB Church, Choctaw. She died Nov. 26, 2010, at Bolivar Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Choctaw, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

Brown

CLEVELAND - Funeral services for Ricky “Short Stroke” Brown Sr., 41, of Cleveland will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Temple of Praise Church in Cleveland under the direction of T.L. Redmon Funeral Home. He died Nov. 28 at Bolivar Medical Center. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Gardens.

Caffey

CLEVELAND - Funeral services for Larry Caffey, 56, of Cleveland will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Home Stretch Baptist Church in Cleveland. Rev. Edward Duvall will be officiating. He died Nov. 24, 2010 at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.

Visitation will be Friday from 2-6 p.m. at Byas funeral Home in Cleveland.

Survivors include his wife, Annie P. Thigpen of Cleveland, sons Larry and Montarius Duvall and Arsenio Nelson, all of of Cleveland, Kayon Young and Demetrius Jackson, both of Memphis, Markee Cooper of Chicago and Zebian McGee of Atlanta; Daughters Krystal Duvall, and Tiffany Young of Cleveland, Angela Montgomery of Ruleville and Vaya Nelson of Moorhead; brothersTroy Caffey of Milwaukee Robert Caffey of Itta Bena, Manuel Caffey of Memphis and Billy Caffey of Ruleville; sister Nora Caffey of Yazoo City; and 26 grandchildren.

Clayton

GREENVILLE - Funeral services for Johnny Randolph “Randy” Clayton, 59, of Greenville will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Nov. 23, 2010, at Delta Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Randy was born Nov. 17, 1951, in Moultrie, Ga. to Isaac and Bobbie Clayton. He grew up in Moultrie where he attended school. He moved to Greenville when he was in his early 20’s where he has lived since.

He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Doss of Greenville; two daughters, Jennifer Clayton of Ridgeland and Madeline Owens of Spring Mills, W.V.; his sister, Gayle Perkins of Falling Waters, W.V.; five grandchildren; and a host of special friends.

The Rev. Joel Hill will officiate.

Cork

GREENVILLE - Funeral services for Queen Ann Cork, 72, of Greenville will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at House of Prayer Church of God in Christ, Greenville. She died Nov.. 25, 2010, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

Visitation is Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville. A memorial services will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Greenville Fellowship Center, 2401 Old Leland Road, Greenville. All groups, choirs, soloists, friends and relatives are invited. Remains will lie in state Saturday from 10 to 10:50 a.m. at the church.

Pastor Thomas Hughes will officiate.

Dismuke

BIG CREEK - Funeral services for Nell W. Dismuke, 78, of Big Creek are at 11 a.m. today at Pryor Funeral Home, Calhoun City. She died Nov. 29, 2010, surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Big Creek, under the direction of Pryor Funeral Home.

She is survived by her son, Randy Dismuke and his wife, Linda of Madison; her daughter, Lisa Dismuke McLain and her husband, Mark of Madison; and her grandchildren, Caleb Dismuke and his wife, Kelly of Flowood, Robin Dismuke of Madison and Marlee Grace McLain of Madison.

Visitation was Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church - Renovation Fund, Greenville, Miss.

LELAND - Funeral arrangements for Otha Lee Hughes, 68, of Leland are pending at Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Dec. 1, 2010, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville.

McCool

GREENVILLE - Memorial services for Charles Bradley McCool, 44, of Greenville will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Boone-Wells Funeral Home. He died November 30, 2010, at Delta Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone-Wells Funeral Home, Greenville.

He was preceded in death by his father, McArthur (Mac) McCool and a son Patrick McCool.

He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Renea McCool and a son, Phillip Bradley McCool, both of Louisville, Miss.; his mother, Joan Edgar of Hollandale; two sisters, Tracy Claypool of Bolls, Ark. and Michelle Holeman of Gary, Texas; a brother, Stephen Christopher McCool of Fulton, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Wyatt Blanton and Kayla Blanton both of Louisville, Miss.

McKinney

INDIANOLA - Funeral services for Ethel McKinney, 87, formerly of Indianola will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Indianola Christian Church, Indianola. She died Nov. 30, 2010, in Buffalo, N.Y. Burial will be in William Workers Cemetery, Sunflower, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

Survivors include her sons, Romeo McKinney of Buffalo, N.Y., Ambrose (Linda) McKinney of Sunflower, Carl (Helen) McKinney of Nashville, Tenn., Alfonzo McKinney of Ruleville and Everette McKinney of Peoria, Ill.; daughters, Monzola (Leon) Gaines of Peoria, Ill., Masone McKinney of Buffalo, N.Y., Pernella (Jesse) Shortie of Greenville and Verlinda (Terry) Fields of Tupelo; 30 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Roosevelt Street Indianola Christian Church.

Minton

SUNFLOWER - Funeral services for Lee W. Minton, 73, of Sunflower will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity House of Prayer, Moorhead. He died Nov. 26, 2010, at South Sunflower County Hospital, Indianola. Burial will be in Pine Ridge, Moorhead, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Minton of Sunflower; sons, Jerry (Catherine) Minton and Lee Wilson (Johnette) Minton Jr., both of Sunflower, and Anthony Minton of Greenville; daughters, Betty (Anthony) Weathers of Itta Bena, Ora Jean Minton of Milwaukee, Wis., Lynda (Earl) Fitzpatrick of Memphis, Tenn., Irene Minton of Sunflower, Doretha Moore of Heidelberg, Germany and Diane (Kenneth) Wraggs of Moorhead; brothers, T.J. GREENVILLE - Funeral services for Gloria J. Ousley, 39, of Greenville will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch M.B. Church, Greenville. She died Nov. 23, 2010, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Harris Brown and Marion Funeral Home, Greenville.

Survivors are two daughters, Chiquita and Lakesha Ousley, and their father, Calvin Winters of Greenville; her mother, Mary A. Ousley, and her father, James L. (Elizabeth) Redmond of Greenville; nine brothers, Harold, Grey and Willie Ousley, Fredric and Alphonzo Redmond, all of Greenville, Patrick and Leon Miller of Jackson, Curtiss Miller of Ala., and Aundra (Pearla) Redmond of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Felicia Redmond of Greenville; her grandmother, Lula M. GREENVILLE - Funeral services for Willie Mae Robinson, 93, of Greenville will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Greenville. Pastor Obadiah Hall will be officiating. She died Nov. 23, 2010 at Delta Regional Medical Center.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 from 2-6 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home in Greenville.

Survivors include a son, William Franklin, of Greenville; and a daughter, Earnestine Franklin, of Flint, Mich.; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.

Rogers

INDIANOLA - Funeral services for Percy Rogers, 70, of Indianola will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Mariah, Indianola. He died Nov. 24, 2010, at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Garden, Indianola, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.

Survivors include his sons, Jimmy Lloyd of Indianola, Henry Lloyd of Stockton, Calif., Percy Rogers Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz. and Kenny Porter of Peoria, Ill.; daughters, Juanita Rogers, Stephanie Rogers, and Carmel Rogers, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, James Rogers Jr. of Chicago, Ill., James Rogers of Toledo, Ohio and Robert Ford of Milwaukee, Wis.; and 16 grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Le’kevis Williams of Jonesboro, Ga. and Jamerius Williams of Indianola; daughter, Yolando Williams of Jonesboro, Ga.; brothers, Robert Coleman and Edward Coleman both of Indianola, and Desmond Coleman of Riverdale, Calif.; sisters, Viella Price of Inverness, Andrea Coleman of Riverdale, Calif., Earnestine Harris of Indianola and Dorothy Taylor of Ellenwood, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
