Summer is here and so is Camp Renaissance 2019. Every summer for the past 12 years Greenville Renaissance Scholars (GRS) has offered a summer program for middle school students that includes academics, creative arts, health and wellness and educational travel.

The Greenville Arts Council is gearing up for a jam-packed summer full of fun activities for local children to enjoy.
The GAC’s annual summer art camps, which are open to children ages 5-12, start next week and wrap up in July. The cost to participate is $100 per week for non GAC-members and $75 for GAC members.
FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES
The Mississippi River is rising again and flood warnings are in effect for Greenville and Washington County until further notice, according to the National Weather Service.
At 11 a.m. Tuesday, the stage was 53.4 feet; the flood stage is 48 feet.
Girls Write the World’s Summer Program focuses on inspiring young women to read, write and to experience the joy of doing so. It aims to foster self-esteem and leadership skills and the importance of self-expression.
