After setbacks, Sandifer Road Bridge nearing completion

Per county engineer Lorenzo Anderson, the Sandifer Road Bridge’s plans are finalized and construction is 70% into completion.

The project had been delayed because of weather and scheduling but has now resumed. In addition, a bridge cap beneath the bridge had to be removed due to a slight fracture.

Wastewater Treatment Plant well underway in rehabilitation process

The Wastewater Treatment Plant is now well into the rehabilitation phase.

On Sunday, the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) updated a water contact advisory that was issued in 2019 for a section of the Mississippi River near Greenville.
