Memorial Day is Monday, May 30. This is the day set aside to honor our veterans who are no longer with us but have served to secure our freedoms. Members of American Legion Post 32 will be placing flags on veterans graves beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 27. We will begin at Greenlawn Cemetery and finish at Lakeview Cemetery. First Vice Commander Ronnie Stewart and Adjutant Jim Sigmond prepare the more than 1,000 flags to be placed in the two cemeteries. The public is invited to join in this respectful endeavor.
