Simmons Jr. to play in Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game
By STAFF REPORT,Greenville High School senior Errick Simmons Jr. has been added to the roster for the 2019 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. The game kicks off at noon this Saturday in Hattiesburg.
Simmons, the Delta Democrat-Times’ Offensive Player of the Year, was a playmaker all season long for the Greenville High School football team.

GPD seeking person who shot 12-year-old girl in home

Greenville Police Chief Delando Wilson said at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 400 block of North Eighth Street in reference to shots fired in the area.

Domestic violence is the motive behind the loss of two lives Tuesday, according the Greenville Police Department investigators.
Robbie Walker-Grossley, 49,was murdered by her husband, Christopher Grossley, 54. After shooting his wife, Christopher Grossley ended his life through suicide.
