Police search for man who robbed business, tied up employee

Local police are searching for a man who robbed Title Plus and Loans and tied up the employee inside.

At about 1 p.m. today, Greenville Police Department’s Patrol Division and Criminal Investigations Division responded to Title Plus and Loans, located in the 1400 block of Highway 1, in reference to an armed robbery.

LELAND — There’s only a week left for folks to hop on over to Leland for a day of live music and family fun at the Frog Fest and Highway 61 Blues Festival.

In lieu of this year’s canceled Mighty Mississippi Music Festival, the 20th annual Highway 61 Blues Festival is returning to its home base of Leland.

The National Weather service says it's still checking out damage from the weekend's worst tornado strike in Mississippi, but now has confirmed another twister hit in the same general region as the damaging twister in Columbus.
