STARKVILLE – As Major League Baseball begins the path to the 2020 season, Mississippi State’s baseball program will send 11 to major league camps, including all eight Diamond Dawgs that ended the 2019 season on active rosters.
The municipal trash pickup schedule will be altered this week as the city observes the Fourth of July
Today’s trash route will be picked up as regularly scheduled.
Thursday and Friday’s routes will be completed this Thursday.
There will be no routes on Friday.

CARY — Graveside services for Rether M. Davis, 82, of Cary, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at Cary Cemetery, with the Rev. Teddy Matthews officiating. She died Thursday, May 28, 2020, at her home. Services are under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.
INDIANOLA — Graveside services for Earnestine Mosby, 87, of Indianola, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at Riverside Memorial Gardens, Indianola, with Elder Elijah Walker officiating. She died Saturday, May 30, 2020. Services are under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Indianola.
All basketball courts, baseball fields and playgrounds run by the city of Greenville will remain closed until at least June 1.
