The Greenville Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find a local woman who has been missing for about three weeks.
Greenville Police Department Assistant Police Chief Michael Merchant said 33-year-old Nikesha Wells was reported missing shortly after 5:30 p.m. Monday.

ELIZABETH - Funeral services for Peter Pope, 84, of Elizabeth, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Bush Funeral Services, Leland, with the Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating. He passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at his home. Burial will be in Sisters of Charity Cemetery, Elizabeth.
MDE reviews GPSD board’s actions
Allegations of Greenville Public School Board members interfering with day-to-day operations of the school district were reviewed by the Mississippi Department of Education and found valid.
A man has been charged with murder for a shooting that left one man dead and another in critical condition.
At 11:30 p.m. Friday, officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of West Alexander Street in reference to two shot people.

Officers with the Greenville Police Department are searching for the person who shot a man in the face and left him to die.
At 6:21 a.m. this morning, police officers were dispatched to the 800 block of North Theobald Street, where they found a 20-year-old black male with blood on his face.
