An officer with the Greenville Police Department has been fired for using excessive force during an arrest Thursday afternoon.

The Greenville Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find the people responsible for two shootings that left six people injured over the Fourth of July weekend.
At 4:03 p.m. July 4, officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to King Stop, 207 Highway 1 N., in reference to two shot people.

JACKSON — Mark Allen Dingeldein, 59, of Jackson and formerly of Greenville, died Aug. 27, 2019, at home in Jackson.
