The Greenville Public School District board of trustees is moving forward with the development of a reopening plan for the 2020-2021 academic school year.

The Greenville Public School District is asking parents of students in the district to complete an online survey concerning the opening of the school year.
The district plans to open the school year on Aug. 5.

Greenville – Funeral services for Christine Lyas, 61, of Greenville, are pending with Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019.
The Greenville Fire Department will host a job fair beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday at 2352 S. Main St.
The GFD is currently accepting applications for entry level fire fighters.
GFD training chief Lonagcio Smith said interested candidates would benefit greatly by attending the job fair.
