LELAND — Due to expected rains and possible thunderstorms Saturday, Nov. 30, the Christmas on Deer Creek celebrations have been postponed a day.

ARCOLA — Funeral services for Natasha Edwards, 37, of Arcola, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Mount Horeb MB Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Ricky Vassar officiating. She died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, in Greenville. Services are under the direction of Sanders-Byas Funeral Home, Hollandale.
The Washington County Board of Supervisors will be meeting at 9 a.m. Monday to hear reports from multiple people, including the Emergency Management Director, County Engineer, Road Manager and Planning Director.

GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangements for Zale Stewart, 78, of Greenville, are pending with Walker Funeral Home, Rolling Fork. He died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019, at Legacy Manor in Greenville.
Domestic violence is the motive behind the loss of two lives Tuesday, according the Greenville Police Department investigators.
Robbie Walker-Grossley, 49,was murdered by her husband, Christopher Grossley, 54. After shooting his wife, Christopher Grossley ended his life through suicide.

Domestic violince appears to be the motive of a husband, 54, shooting his wife, 49, and then turning the gun on himself, according to the Greenville Police Department.
