GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Fredrick Shannon, 79, of Greenville, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at St. Matthew AME, with the Rev. Dr. William A. Brown officiating. He died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.

The municipal trash pickup schedule will be altered this week as the city observes the Thanksgiving holiday.
Garbage and trash routes scheduled to be picked up on Tuesday and Thursday were completed on Tuesday.
Routes scheduled to be picked up on Wednesday and Friday will be completed today.
