ROSEDALE — Graveside services for Derrick Preshawn Lewis, 48, of Rosedale, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at New Hope Cemetery, Rosedale, with Pastor Elnora Littleton officiating. He died Friday, June 26, 2020, at his home. Services are under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.

VICKSBURG — Gilda Fae McCool Shurden Miller died Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the Merit Health River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 84.
She was preceded in death by her immediate family, including her parents, two husbands, and her only two children.

LyWanda L. Wynder, of Leland and formally of Walker, was recently promoted to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (CW$) in the United States Army. Wynder enlisted in the Army immediately upon graduation from high school.
