LELAND- After a valiant surge to take the lead in a low scoring game, the Leland Cubs ran out of gas in the final quarter to fall 37-35 to the Coahoma County Panthers Tuesday night. Panthers senior guards Bentavious Galmore and Trumaine Jones led a fourth quarter charge where they out scored the Cubs 11-9.

GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) — Travelers leaving from a Mississippi airport will be able to fly directly into two new cities in a few months.
News outlets report that direct flights leaving from the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport to Austin, Texas and Fort Myers, Florida were announced Monday.
