She was preceded in death by her immediate family, including her parents, two husbands, and her only two children.

The Greenville Public School District is deep into the development of a plan for reopening classroom instruction to students for the upcoming academic year.
The district’s plan, titled “Destination 8/5” as Aug. 5 is its target start date, requires significant feedback from various stakeholders, especially parents.
Jonathan Bates Jr. does not believe his fellow race car drivers take him too seriously when they glance his way and see an 11-year-old kid behind the wheel. But their demeanors quickly change, said Bates, once he speeds by them on the race track and flashes his wide grin.
