VICKSBURG — Gilda Fae McCool Shurden Miller died Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the Merit Health River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 84.

Delta Center Stage is postponing its planned summer opening to the week of July 16-19.
The opening was set for this week.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Lt. Colonel Howard W. Johnson, USA (Ret.), an Army chaplain and Catholic priest, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2020, in Bethesda, Maryland. He was 86 years old. He led a life full of service to his country and the Lord.

Patrons of the Washington County Library will soon be able to turn pages of books borrowed from the Metcalfe Library.
With funding secured by the Washington County Board of Supervisors in a November meeting, a new chapter is being written, which will give residents access to the library in Metcalfe Town Hall.
