Rotary District Governor applauds local club for polio eradication efforts

At Thursday’s weekly Greenville Rotary Club Meeting, District Governor for Rotary 6820 Mark Fields delivered a keynote message that encompassed the ruthless efforts toward eliminating the polio virus and expanding the Rotary’s connection to the world.

The numbers for Washington County general elections have officially been certified as of Friday afternoon after officials counted absentee ballots.

Mala Brooks was the only non-incumbent to win and increased her 13-vote margin to 154 votes with a 1,381 to 1,227 win over Jesse Amos in the District 4 Supervisor race.

It is his job to set an example for the players on his young team. Despite the early set backs this season for O’Bannon, Jessie has always worked hard at getting better.
