GREENVILLE — Carl Fred Mangrum Sr., 70, of Greenville, died Tuesday March 3, 2020, at his home. Services for Mr. Mangrum were Sunday, March 8, at Deer Creek Baptist Church, Rolling Fork, under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home.

A 64 year-old black male was shot Saturday night in the 400th block of Sunflower Street, near Doe’s Eat Place, Greenville. Just before 11 p.m. the Greenville Police Department responded to a call in reference to a shot person, whose name is being held pending family notification.
