HOLLANDALE — Lorayne Rodgers Upchurch, 97, of Hollandale, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2020. Lorayne was born on December 31, 1922 in Josephine, Texas, to Longino and Zelma Eubank Rodgers and moved to the Mississippi Delta when she was 2 years old.
One day, hopefully soon, when this coronavirus pandemic is over, and we return to our new normal, I hope we remember just how valuable those people are in our community who are still working to provide us with our daily needs.

Sixteen-year-old Kamrone Lee, of Greenville, has been reported as missing since July 11.
Lee is described as a 5’9”, 110-pound black male with black hair and brown eyes.
