Sherman’s Restaurant expanding parking lot spaces

One of Greenville’s longest-running establishments is making strides that will give restaurant patrons an even more satisfying dining experience from the moment they park their car.

Sherman’s Restaurant is in the process of expanding its parking lot to not only ensure patron convenience, but their safety as well.

Mayor: Increasing water, sewer rates will help pay for repair work

At Monday’s Greenville City Council special budget session, voting was split between the council about increasing water and sewer rates.

Councilman James Wilson, along with other members of the council, did not want to increase water and sewer rates because of the recent added $4 for trash pickup.
