Lady Irish's historic season comes to an end

Sand, bags available at Expo Center this weekend for flash flooding

Residents concerned about possible flash flooding in the next week are encouraged to bag up some sand this weekend.

The Office of Emergency Management sent out a message Friday afternoon that sand and bags are available this weekend at the Washington County Expo Building due to a threat of flash flooding next week.

GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Patsy Shaw, 66, of Shaw, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Vessels of Mercy, Greenville, with the Rev. Morris McCaskill officiating. She died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery, under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.
