GREENVILLE — Graveside services for Alice M. Banks, 80, of Greenville, are pending with Byas Funeral Home, Greenville, with Dr. John Johnson officiating. She died Oct. 29, 2020. Visitation will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.
She is survived by two siblings, Christine Smith and Arthur Wiseman Jr.; eight children, Willie Cook Sr., Christine Caliborne, Lorean Johnson, Lillie Johnson Wheeler and Dexter B. Claiborne, all of Topeka, Kansas, the Rev. John Johnson, of Greenville, Brenda F. Claiborne, of Mufreesboro, Tennessee, and Joann V. Banks, of Greenville; 30 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
