GREENVILLE — Private graveside services for Chambrea Fern Suares, 55, of Greenville, was held Saturday, April 25, at Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home. Pastor Pam Richards of Walking in Love Ministries officiated. Chambrea died Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at her home.
Chambrea was born Aug. 28, 1964, at King’s Daughters Hospital and was a Greenville resident throughout her life. She worked for various businesses in Greenville, including Family Medical Center, and the City of Greenville as an animal control officer. She was a lover of animals, and had a passion for horses. She and her late husband, George, participated in numerous rodeos. She was a faithful participant in the annual Greenville Christmas Parade with her decorated horses. One of her favorite activities was taking her pony to children’s birthday parties. She also enjoyed gardening.
Chambrea was a warm and kind-hearted person, who loved to care for others in need. She especially loved spending time with her niece and sister. They, in turn, were much appreciative of the love and attention shown to them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edmund Suares; and niece, Cameron Taylor.
She is survived by her mother, Charlene Holder, of Greenville; and her sister, Loren Hope Townsend, of Greenville.
