Dan Wilson Sr.
GREENVILLE — Graveside services for Dan Wilson Sr., 100, of Greenville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Delta Memorial Gardens, Greenville. He died Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at his home. Services are under the direction of Dillon Funeral Home, Leland.
A carpenter, he was married to the love of his life, Mrs. Willie Mae Winchester-Wilson, who preceded him in death. He served in the military from October 1942 until February 1943.
A Christian, he served his church, Sunrise Baptist Church, for over 50 years as an usher.
He leaves to cherish his memories, seven daughters, Nealis Mabry, of Chicago, Ann Wright, of St. Louis, MO, Elizabeth Jones, of Memphis, TN, Shelley Foots, of Memphis, Jacqueline Montgomery, of Chicago, Colleen Nelson, of Memphis, and Martine Wilson, of St. Louis; three sons, Theodore Wilson, Dan Wilson Jr., and Antonio Wilson, all of Greenville; 32 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
