GREENVILLE — Graveside services for Earnestine Hardmon, 76, of Greenville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Albert Calvin Jr. officiating. She died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee. Services are under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born April 11, 1944, to the parents of Willie Armstrong and Sallie Armstrong, in Jonestown. She was a member of Mt. Horeb MB Church. She was a teacher for 30 years. She was preceded in death by parents, Willie Armstrong and Sallie Armstrong; two children, daughter, Sherell Hardmon and a son, Frank Hardmon Jr.; and one brother, James Armstrong. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Frank Hardmon, of Greenville; two daughters, Trenita (Tracy) Nichols and Elanda Vonsha Hardmon, both of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Tenyia Nichols and Timila Nichols, both of Atlanta; one great-grandchild, Arielle Haynes, of Atlanta; a sister-in-law, Katheryn Armstrong, of Lake Orion, MI; three bothers, Curtis (Patricia) Kemp, of Clarksdale, and Clyde Kemp and Percy Armstrong, both of Pontiac, MI.
