GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Elen Victor Pinion, 84, of Greenville, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, at the First Baptist Church of Greenville. He died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, at his residence in Greenville. Interment will be in Greenville Cemetery, under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville.
Victor was born April 28, 1935, the son of Charlie and Molly Pinion, in Blaine.
He is the founder and owner of Industrial Services, since 1986. His life was full of accomplishment, he was a 32nd Degree Mason, active member of the Greenville Business Community, former president of Pipe Fitters Union - Local 618, member of Mississippi Contractors Association, and former Commodore of the Greenville Yacht Club.
He was an avid Master Bass Fisherman. He was a collector of Ole Miss Memorabilia and held Ole Miss Football season tickets for over 40 years. He was a Classic Car Collector, avid scuba diver, and his greatest joy was being surrounded by family at his home watching his grandchildren play and swim in the pool. Christmas Eve at Papa’s house would just never end!
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two daughters, Patricia and Cynthia Pinion.
Survivors include: his wife of 34 years, Marci Pinion; brother, James (Terri) Coslet, of Greenville; two sisters, Pat Campbell, of Roanoke, Virginia, and Nancy Tilley, of Bossier City, Louisiana; son, Victor (Donna) Pinion, of Greenville; four daughters, Margie (Phil) Lee, of Greenville, Shirley “Bitsy” Pinion, of Greenville, Starlyn Wilcox, of Ruston, Louisiana, and Theresa (Sean) McInerney, of Metarie, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren, Victor Brasier Pinion, Mollie Pinion, Jade Pinion, Phil Lee Jr., Lauren Lee, Brandon McCain, Caroline Watson, Sean Paul McInerney, Alex Pafford, Nate Smith, Matthew Giardina, and Dae McGarrity; three great-grandchildren, John Braxton, Branson McCain, and Erin McCain.
