ROANOKE, Va. — Graveside services for Era Pinion Campbell, 82, of Roanoke, Virginia, were at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at Lakeview Gardens. She passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at Lewis Gale Hospital in Salem, Virginia. Arrangements were under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born to Charley and Molly Downs Pinion in Blaine on July 10, 1937. She married Wyatt T. Campbell and supported him while he served in the U.S. Air Force. After his discharge, they made their home in Roanoke, Virginia. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, Greenville.
Era was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sons, Bruce Campbell and Mike Campbell; brothers, Victor Pinion and Edward Pinion; and twin sister, Vera Baker.
She is survived by a son, James Campbell, of Roanoke; a sister, Nancy Tilly, of Oil City, Louisiana; a brother, James Coslet, of Greenville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Steven Cantu of Grace Fellowship Church will officiate the services.
