GREENVILLE — Eva Mautice Parker, 89, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland. Graveside services will be at Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Philadelphia, at a later date. Boone Funeral Home, Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
Eva was born Dec. 8, 1930, in Philadelphia, to Annie Kilpatrick and James R. Parker. She graduated high school from Longino High School in Neshoba County. She then attended Mississippi College, graduating with a B.S. in Education. Eva taught in the Mississippi Public School System for 31 years, retiring in 1982. After retiring as a school teacher, she later worked as an Insurance and Benefits Specialist for SuperValu/Lewis Grocer in Indianola until 1995.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville.
She is survived by many nephews and nieces.
