ROLLING FORK — Evelyn Yvonne Lester Bell, 63, of Rolling Fork, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020, at her home in Rolling Fork. Boone Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Jan. 22, 1957, in Arcola.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles B. Lester; stepmother, Pat Lester; a son, Paul Delano Bell; three brothers, Danny E. Lester, Michael D. Johnston, and Howell Johnston; stepfather, D.H. “Pete” Johnston; and two sisters, Patricia Kay Lester and Lynn Rager.
She is survived by her mother, Dezzie Lee Johnston, of Greenville; daughter, Carla Bell Smith (Jackie), of Southaven; son, Jamie Bell, of Atoka, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren, Parker Bell, Chelsea Bell, Patrick Bell, Adelyn Bell, Zoey Smith, Abbie Smith, Zakkery Smith, Nathan Bell Storm, Lauren Bell and Brantley Bell; and two great-grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by two brothers, Charlie Lester, of Greenville, and Randy Lester, of Morton; five sisters, Phyllis Sullivan (Chris), of Greenville, Marion Butler (Mike), of Columbus, Ann Westbrook (Donald), of Pelahatchie, Robbie Rust (Troy), of Pelahatchie, and Brenda Alexander (Randy), of Cato; and her best friend, Sherrie Ann Dycus (Bill), of Moss Point; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She loved all of them dearly.
