Larry Goodwin Sr.
GREENVILLE — Larry “Shane” Goodwin Sr., 60, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Delta Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was born June 10, 1959, in Wynn, Arkansas, to the late Bobby and Patsy Goodwin. He attended T.L. Weston in Greenville. Larry worked as a deckhand for Waterways Towboat Company on “The Captain Buddy.” He also worked for many years at Midas as a technician. Larry lived life to the fullest; he loved talking with friends and family, fishing and watching the towboats go up the Mississippi River.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa H. Goodwin, of Greenville; three sons, Chris (Kim) Goodwin, of Lakeland, Florida, Larry Goodwin II and Timothy Goodwin, both of Greenville; two daughters, Lara (Mitch) Scott and Sara (Justin) Leslie, all of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Chris II, of Lakeland, Florida, Brinkleigh, Gracie, Kelsie, Ashley, Brianna and Maddison, all of Greenville; three brothers, Terry Goodwin, of Orlando, Florida, and Oliver Goodwin and Bobby Goodwin II, both of Greenville; sister, Veronica, of Bentonville, Arkansas; and eight nieces and nephews.
