GREENVILLE — Nadine Oswalt Franklin, 89, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at The Pinnacle in Greenville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford, with the Rev. Fish Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. The visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m.
Born in Choctaw County to the late Houston C. and Hilda Fultz Oswalt, Hilda moved to Greenville after graduating from Eupora High School. She retired from the Loan Office with Greenville Production Credit. Nadine was well known for her coconut pies. She enjoyed sharing time and drinking coffee with her friends, traveling and flying on planes. Mrs. Franklin was a member of Community Church in Oxford.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marc Franklin.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Franklin (fiancé-Susan), of Greenville, and Rick Franklin (Sandy) of Pensacola, FL; a brother, Wayne Oswalt, of Grenada; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
