FAIRFIELD BAY, Ark. — Funeral services for Norma Sue Seymour, 81, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, and formerly of Greenville, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at South Main Church of Christ, Greenville. She passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery, under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Seymour was born in Texas and moved to Greenville in February 1968. She worked as a decorator at Sears and Conway Decorators for several years and was also a substitute teacher at Greenville Christian School for approximately 12 years. Mrs. Seymour and her husband had Clayton Seymour Allstate Insurance Agency where she was office manager. Mrs. Seymour was a member of South Main Church of Christ, where she served as bookkeeper for several years.
She was a member of the Associated Women for Harding and was a member of Sweet Adolines singing group.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Clifford Dees and Lyda Mae Brock Dees; and by her 10 brothers and sisters, Peggy Thurman, Lou Mae Hallum, Naoma Evans, Danny Dees, Leroy Dees, Jack Dees, Lindy Dees, Thomas Dees, Charles Dees, and Jake Dees.
She is survived by her husband, Clayton Geist Seymour; two daughters, Cathy Sue Sanders, of Horn Lake, and Sherri Lynne Scott, of Merritt Island, Florida; a son, Clayton G. Seymour Jr. (Melody), of Greenville; six grandchildren, Randy Sanders, Raymond Sanders, Jennifer Dunn (Tony), Trey Seymour, Kyle Scott and Ashli Scott; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
There will be a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
