GREENVILLE — Robert “Rob” David Brown, 54, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Delta Health-The Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Rob was a loving father, son, and friend and was a lifelong resident of Greenville. He was son to Donald and Dovey Brown, born on May 12, 1966. He was a graduate of Greenville Christian School, class of 1984 and attended Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead, and Delta State University in Cleveland. Rob was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Rob will be well remembered by his family and friends as a kindhearted, fun-loving gentleman. He enjoyed spending time outside hunting, fishing, or just spending time in nature. He enjoyed gathering with friends and traveling to enjoy live music. His laughter, smile and wit were infectious. He was most happy sharing joy for life with others. His love for his wife, Beth, family and friends was apparent.
Rob was preceded in death by his father, Donald “Don” Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Olcese Brown; his mother, Dovey Brown; son, Michael Anthony “Jeni” Brown; brother, (Rob always called him his big little brother), Charles Nicholas “Nicky” Brown; granddaughter, Dixie Marie Brown, all of Greenville; and aunts, Carrie “Bill” Horn, of Caldwell, Ohio, and Helen Jennings, of Crossett, AR.
