GREENVILLE — Graveside services for Travis Quinnardo Lewis, 44, of Greenville, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at Oaklawn Memorial Garden, Greenville, with Minister Karla Johnson officiating. He died Monday, May 11, 2020, at Merit Health Central. Services are under the direction of Bush Funeral Services, Leland.
Travis was born Aug. 14, 1975, in Mound Bayou, to Carolyn Lewis, of Greenville, and the late J.C. Sibley Jr.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Sinai MB Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. Hudson Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Sibley Jr. and maternal grandfather, L.T. Shields.
He loved driving trucks, shooting pool, listening to music, telling jokes and having fun.
He leaves to cherish his memories, four sons, Tylan Rudd, of Decatur, Georgia, Taylor Lewis, of Olive Branch, Jaylan Lewis and Josiah Lewis, of Greenville; his loving mother, Carolyn Lewis; maternal grandmother, Jessie Shields, of Greenville; four sisters, Stephanie Reed, of Cordova, Tennessee, Sandra (Fredrick) Wilson, of Jackson, Tanya (Perry) White, of Greenville, and Tonya Lewis, of Memphis, Tennessee; three brothers, Shawn Lewis and Roderick Shields, both of Greenville, and Stephen Lewis, of Tacoma; a special aunt, Diane Shields, of Jackson; two best friends, Roderick Ervin, of Tupelo and Wayne Ervin, both of Houston, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
