GREENVILLE — Graveside services for Whitney Sade Wilson, 32, of Greenville, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, at Oaklawn, with Pastor Oliver Robinson Jr. officiating. Services are under the direction of Byas Funeral Home, Greenville.
Whitney peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Delta Regional Medical Center. Whitney was born Sept. 15, 1987, to Aaron Brewer and Paula Wilson in Greenville. Whitney confessed her faith in Christ at an early age at Pleasant Green Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. B.T. Benson. Whitney later moved her membership to the Rose Hill North Baptist Church, under the leadership of the Rev. Oliver Robinson Sr., where she remained until her passing. Whitney was a 2007 graduate of the awesome class of Greenville Weston High School. After graduating, Whitney attended MDCC for a year, and then she went on to join the work force. Whitney was employed with Tropicana Casino, where she worked as a hostess for the past 10 years.
Whitney was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dan and Luvenia Brewer; an aunt, Earlene Lenard; an uncle, Frank Lawrence; and her maternal grandparents, William Campbell Sr. and Thelma Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her parents, Aaron Brewer and Paula Wilson; her son, Hunter Lane Stewart; a sister, Brittany Wilson; nephews, Keshawn Robinson and Jayson Thomas; a niece, Oniyah Robinson, all of Greenville; uncles, Victor (Brenda) Wilson, of Memphis, Tennessee, Shawn (Martin) Eiden, of Brooklyn, New York; Williams (Gloria) Campbell, of Olive Branch, David Campbell, Danny N. Campbell, Johnny (Doris) Campbell, Jerry (Betty) Campbell, Dan (Essie) Brewer and Alexander Lawrence, of Greenville; and her aunts, Sandra (Earnest) Jackson, Sheree (DC) May, Linda Anderson, Sharon Wilson, Anita (Thomas) Cary, Willie Esther Campbell, Shirley Brewer, all of Greenville, Lottie (Andrew) Polite, of Houston, Texas, Mary Campbell and Glenda Campbell, both of Las Vegas.
Whitney will forever be remembered for her loving heart, her kind, gentle spirit and that loving smile.
