Violet Marie(McClain) Allen, 84 of Greenville, Mississippi went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Delta Health Systems Medical Center in Greenville. Originally of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Marie was born February 18, 1939. She lived and raised her family in the Mississippi Delta. Marie devoted her life to raising her six children and making a home with her husband. She was a true servant of God and a faithful preachers wife serving alongside her husband. She loved unconditionally and was loved by many. She will be missed beyond measure. 

Marie is preceded in death by her mother Ethel Hood; sister Elsie Morgan; son Ruel Allen; son-in-law Pete Miles; and daughter-in-law Mary Allen.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 71 years, Glenn Allen; daughters, Darlene Goss, Debbie(James) Miles; sons, Randy(Brenda) Allen, Kenny Allen, Darrell(Terri) Allen; daughter-in-law; Candace Allen, honorary son, Larry Goss Sr.; 18 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great, great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday December 2, 2023 at Leroy Percy State Park Garden Room.
