We may have enjoyed a day of sunshine and warmth on Thursday, but it has left just as quickly as it came. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 9 a.m. Friday to noon Saturday. Expect a high of 22 degrees and 2 to 3 inches of snowfall over Columbia.

Employers could receive permission to test employees for medical marijuana under a proposal discussed by Missouri state senators Thursday.
