Deer Creek School seniors Montana Haley and Mary Grace Hobart were once younger players on the Warrior softball team. Now that they are in their last year at Deer Creek School they say they want to do whatever they can to help their still developing teammates be successful.
Washington School’s Allie Stevens is a better pitcher this year and it has little to do with her mechanics. In a 6-0 victory over Carroll Academy on Monday, Stevens pitched another shutout gem to bring her record to 8-2 this season. Stevens said the victories are due to her total trust in her teammates.
The Washington School Lady Generals soccer team kept control of the game for the most part in their 1-1 tie with The Manchester Academy Lady Mavericks on Saturday. And that’s the part that troubled Lady Generals head coach Jeffrey Giachelli most.
