GREENVILLE, Mississippi - Funeral services for Beverly Sue Sipes, 85, of Greenville, who passed on January 22, 2026, in the early morning in her home surrounded by family was held on Friday January 30, 2026, at 11 am at Mortimer Funeral Home. The family received friends from 10 a.m. until service time. The Rev. Kirby Slaton will be officiating. Interment will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Leland. Serving as pallbearers are Lee Sipes, Bryan Sipes, Justin Rhodes, Ray Jennings, Dylan Barbian, Rob Sipes, Chance Priddy, and Jondy White.
Sue, as she was known, was born to Curtis and Janice Grisham in Jefferson County, Kentucky on October 29, 1940. She worked alongside her late husband Harold Sipes for 30 years in the business they owned together: Quick as a Wink Dry Cleaners. She taught art classes for six years and bowled in leagues in the early years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years: Harold Lee Sipes, her parents, two brothers: Donnie Grisham, Darryl Grisham, and one sister: Shelby Tharp all of Louisville, Kentucky.
She is survived by five children: Stan Sipes (Vanessa) of Panama City, Florida; Gary Sipes of Pearl; Renee McGaugh (Mack) of Cross Plains, Tennessee; Robert Sipes (Deborah) of Greenville; and Todd Sipes (Kay) of Greenville, as well as one sibling: David Grisham (Gloria) of Louisville, Kentucky, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Pulliam, Dr. Thakare, Dr. Hayek, and hospice nurses for love and compassion Vicky McKinnie (CNA) and Mikayla Manus (RN).
