A 64 year-old black male was shot Saturday night in the 400th block of Sunflower Street, near Doe’s Eat Place, Greenville. Just before 11 p.m. the Greenville Police Department responded to a call in reference to a shot person, whose name is being held pending family notification.
A Greenville man faces 40 years in prison after being convicted by a Washington County jury for trafficking approximately 10 pounds of a controlled substance, announced Attorney General Jim Hood.
Thursday morning shortly after 2 a.m., Greenville police officers responded to the 600th block of West Union Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a 19 year-old black male suffering from several gunshot wounds, according to a statement from Assistant Chief Michael Merchant.
After reports of a shooting in the 500th block of North Edison Tuesday just before 9 a.m., an investigation has resulted in a warrant for Kijanna Nall, 23.
Investigators are asking for information regarding Nall, a 5-foot 11-inches, 225 pound black male.
Investigation points toward domestic violence in murder, suicide
Domestic violince appears to be the motive of a husband, 54, shooting his wife, 49, and then turning the gun on himself, according to the Greenville Police Department.
Indianola – One man and one woman are in custody, and another man is being sought in relation to a night of violence in Indianola that took the life of 24-year-old Deaubrey Roscoe and left two other people injured and hospitalized.
