The Suzie Pitt Carollo Scholarship Endowment Fund will make it possible for a scholarship to be awarded to one qualified candidate who will attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university or a vocational/career training program.
In making a decision, the Scholarship Advisory Committee will use the following criteria,
participation in community activities/projects, scholastic achievements, and recommendation Letter.
Applicants must be, high school seniors graduating from Leland High School, provide an official transcript sealed in an envelope from the school, and register as a full-time student at any community college, university, or in a vocational/career training program within 6 months following graduation.
Note, that proof of enrollment must be provided before funds will be disbursed,
Applicants must provide contact information for one reference, a teacher, or a supervisor of a community Organization, it can not be a family member.
Applicants will be notified by mail about the status of their application no later than April 30, 2024. Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the institution of the applicant’s choice no later than August 1, 2024.
Each completed application must be received by the Community Foundation by March 28, 2024.
