As part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve and maintain sanitary sewer service to the citizens of Greenville, construction work is being done on an existing, gravity sanitary sewer line located beneath Reed Road.
As part of this construction project, the Contractor, Suncoast Infrastructure, Inc. has installed temporary, sanitary sewer bypass piping along Reed Road.
To allow traffic to travel through the intersection of Main St. and Reed Rd, the contractor has installed ramps at the intersection to allow traffic to travel over the bypass piping.
The work on the gravity sewer line along Reed Road will take approximately six weeks to complete.
Once the work on the gravity sewer line is complete, the bypass piping will be removed. Residents are encouraged to slow down in the work zone for the safety of everyone involved.
