HOLLANDALE — A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was found dead on the outskirts of the City of Hollandale.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers with the Hollandale Police and Washington County Sheriff’s departments discovered a deceased person with gunshot wounds to the head alongside the road of an unknown block of Sandifer Road, which is just outside of town.
The woman was identified as 39-year-old Antwayette “Pooh-Pooh” Brown, of Hollandale.
According to Washington County Sheriff’s Department officials, a possible suspect has already been taken into custody. No further information has been given at this time.
