Two inmates who escaped from the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility have been located and are now in custody, per the county law enforcement officials.
At 9 a.m. Tuesday, it was discovered by WCRCF personnel that two white males — Gary Wayne Robertson and Nicholas Shane Savage — were missing.
Robertson, who is 5’5, 131 pounds, is charged with Motor Vehicle Taking, Possession of Controlled Substance and Auto Burglary.
Savage, who is 5’10, 165 pounds, is charged with Capital Murder.
Hours later, officials with the Sheriff's Office announced the inmates had been captured and returned to the custody of county law enforcement.
