Deer Creek School will celebrate homecoming on Friday, October 17, 2025. The Warriors will host North Sunflower Academy; kickoff is at 7:00 p.m. The pep-rally will be at 9:30 a.m. in the Branning Gymnasium. This year’s theme is “Rhythm in RIO.”
Three senior maids have been chosen to represent their class on the 2025 Homecoming Court. The first senior maid is Katelynn Michelle Jones. Katelynn is the daughter of Wilbur and Jessica Jones of Greenville. The next senior maid is Alyssa Jo Stone. Alyssa is the daughter of Joe and Sherrie Smutzer of Greenville and Allen and Brittany Stone of Greenville. The final senior maid is Jordyn McKenzie Whatley. Jordyn is the daughter of Ashley Whatley of Leland and Winn Whatley of Indianola.
Representing the junior class are Chloe Grace Oakes and Guadalupe Quintanilla. Chloe is the daughter of Lisa Oakes of Leland and Josh and Lauren Oakes of Cleveland. Guadalupe is the daughter of Juan and Yessica Quintanilla of Rolling Fork.
Two sophomore maids have been chosen to represent their class on the 2025 Homecoming Court. The first sophomore maid is Gracie Elizabeth Rainwater. Gracie is the daughter of Patrick and Stephanie Rainwater of Lake Village. The second sophomore maid is Bella Grace Simpson. Bella is the daughter of Heath and Liz Simpson of Hollandale.
The freshman class will be represented by Piper Rylee Andrews and Maddison Grace Leslie. Piper is the daughter of Kelly Fryer of Benoit and Brad Andrews of Greenville. Maddison is the daughter of Justin and Sara Leslie of Greenville.
Homecoming Queen will be crowned at halftime by Mr. Scotty Smyly, President of the Deer Creek School Board of Directors. The flower girls for the evening are Jacey Baldwin, Mayme Claire Crawford, Ryan Hollings, and Brayleigh Spencer. The Queen’s crown bearer for the evening is Graham Sullivan. Flowers will be presented to by last year’s queen, Kenzlee Wooley.
