Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of T.L. Redmon Funeral Home, Cleveland. He died on January 2, 2026, at Delta Health Systems - The Medical Center. Visitation will be 1-5 pm, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.
Survivors include:daughters, Marquitta James of Greenville and La'Quessia Dorsey of Ridgeland; brothers, Stanley Dorsey of Greenville and Jimmy Moore of Leland; sisters, Diane Hall of Tacoma, Washington, and Catherine Patterson-Sykes of Jackson; 2 grandsons; and 5 great-grandchildren.
