An Easter weekend Community Drive-Thru Food and Facemask Giveaway will be hosted by Boots to Beyond, Inc. at noon Saturday, at the Washington County Convention Center, 1040 S. Raceway Rd.
Items will continue to be distributed while supplies last.
The drive-thru is being organized in partnership with various local churches, entities and businesses to benefit Greenville and surrounding areas.
“The Fight against Hunger has been an issue for years. Given the economic and social consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, people need food aid even more now than ever before,” Mayor Errick Simmons said in a statement. “I encourage those in need to stop by on Saturday to receive free food and face masks.”
